Description
"Clearsight?" Darkstalker whispered. He cleared his throat and tried again, a little stronger. "Clearsight?"
The wind murmured through the shadows, scattering pine needles across Darkstalker's wings and breathing evergreen air in Turtle's direction.
"Clearsight," Darkstalker said, stepping out into the moonlight, "if you're here, speak to me. Please, please speak to me." He waited with an expression of such hope that Turtle was filled with guilt.

The feels, though. Even a villain's got someone to care about.

Not only that, but Turtle was seen as an embarrassment and unimportant to her own mother for a long time. If only Gill took back what he said u-u

I'm not the best a giving art tips, so excuse me if I made any mistakes. I'm sorry if I accidentally offend you in this.
For this piece, I think the colours came out quite well, and the marble's pattern is also something amazing. Turtle looks pretty great, and I love the shading and the background (the faint light and grass). Darkstalker's eye is also pretty amazing. It's... not two dimensional anymore. It shows us how he really feels, and gives his character a new side. Also, I think Darkstalker's 3/4 angle head is also amazing. It's pretty hard to draw dragons with heads like that. Also, you did a great job with Turtle's glow spots (I forgot what they're called don't judge me XD). Also, I don't know whether it's intentional or not, Turtle's eyebrow (or the equivalent for dragons) makes him seem like showing empathy towards Darkstalker.
But personally, I think the size comparison between those two might be a bit inaccurate (sorry about this, but I still think the piece is amazing). I'm not the best at positions but I think Darkstalker's position might be a bit awkward? He doesn't really look like he's searching for Clearsight (sorry if this offends you).Β
Honestly, I think this piece is pretty great.Β

Ah, thank you for the critique! I did intend to make Turtle look sorry for Darkstalker. I tried making Turtle look like he sort of stepped back from Darkstalker, somewhat in the background zone. And I tried making Darkstalker look pretty tall and large, since he did point out how smaller dragons were. I must admit Darkstalker's position is awkward, making dragons' arms or talons face them is a pretty new position for me to draw. And perhaps I could have made his head pointing more forward or more 'swively'. None of this offends me at all, and I think you've done a great job with telling me what you thought of this piece. Thank you once again :3
