Her home was threatened to be destroyed and as a Princess she chose to lie, trying to save her home, BUT, even after Alderaan was destroyed, Leia never left the Rebellion. She still fought fiercely, she took command of situations when she deemed it appropriate, she was passionate and strong and determined to bring an end to the Empire. Hell, she even killed a crime lord in a bikini.
If Leia's not badass, I don't know who is.

Oh, I so agree. Leia was a very nice character. I was devastated when I found out Carrie passed and decided to do a Princess Leia shooting as a tribute.
