I do see the grain, but it doesn't get in the way too much of the colors. However, I do bring salvation. I have a similar problem where I'll take night photographs of clouds at high exposure, so what it'll do is it'll make for a similar effect that pours colors into the bottoms of the clouds. It makes for a nice lighting from underneath. However, it does get a massive amount of grain as well.
There's a free program on the internet called Neat Image. It's a small download, only 1.5 megabytes, and is very easy to use. I highly reccomend it to all digital photographers, as it is a strong tool for reducing the noise in an image. You can find it here: [link]
Try that out, and you'll be amazed at what you can do.
