Haha, thanks! It's still a practice thing though. I'm still trying to get better with this style of coloring.

Not much. Making a music video in one of my classes which is gonna be completely and totally awesome-saucem. Me and the boyfreind have our first anniversary next month on the fifth, gonna go to tea. Been practicing drawing quite a bit, working on my bodies, but I've gotta fight art blocks unfortunatly often. And I got perfects on two of my three oral reports I had to give last week. No big stuff, really. You darling?
Side note- I never wanna dye my hair. My brown suits my personality, and when I get old I want to grey gracefully~

Oooh, I probably won't get to go to a con this year- Too expensive. But good for you! I had some issues with my honors world history last quarter, but that oral report brought me up enough. It's a tough class, not to mention the teacher's a lunatic. The sad part is, we're learning about the world wars at the moment- We're on WWII, my favorite to study- but his teaching method is so weird, I feel like I'm not learning anything!

It's not really the costume that's the expensive part- It's the con itself. The one I go to- Otakon- is $70 (with pre-reg) for the weekend, pluss a hundred for food, a hundred+ for stuff, and a ton of cash for a hotel for the weekend. The hotel is what killed me- it was last minute last year, so my parents covered it. I'd have to this year, and I don't have that kind of money. I could get a job, but there's nobody really hiring.

Mostly it's the convention center- It's the biggest one in the city, and they have it for three days- lots of money to rent that. It was really worth it last year, though!~

You don't know the half of it, dearie. The venues themselves are beautiful, and so is everything around them. Baltimore, where Otakon is, is a gorgeous city. Inner Harbor, a big boat docking place/public park on the Chesapeak has a ton of big boats docked there, including big military barges where Transformer cosplays are photographed a lot, and the USS Constelation, a replica of a ship from the Revolutionary War over here, is a popular pirate and lolita cosplay photospot. Other places have very similar things as well.

They are a lot of fun- One's in Canada, too, I hear. I don't really know about ones in other countries, though. Enlighten me?

Well, from what I see online, cons in your country and in some places in Europe are really cool!
Ours are... uh... well... lame... there's no other way to put it, honestly. Some last for two or three days. The venues are often small, crowded, and are usually just held in malls (this is one of the reasons I don't like it - they don't choose nice venues). There are many douchebag cosplayers (like, they're snobby coz they're good or because they THINK they're good) and there are attendees who bash cosplayers even though it's obvious that the person put a lot of effort in their costumes (many cosplayers here view cosplay as a competition instead of an activity to enjoy). It's annoying.
There are some conventions that I like, such as Cosplay Mania, because the venue is really big and it isn't in a mall, and people are SOMEWHAT nicer, but most of the conventions here aren't all that exciting. I just like going because I want to cosplay with friends and there are stalls there that I want to buy stuff from but, other than that, I really don't like our conventions.

Sorry for the late reply- Teacher's are cracking down more, so I don't get the chance to get on often anymore
Anywho, that sucks girly! Mall's sound like no fun at all, and it's probably an inconvenice to other people, too, who just want to shop. You need to get to a real con, stat! Dr. Mika prescribes at least one day's dose of awesome-con

The reactions thing IS fun, I'll admit. Especially when walking around a major city dressed in my Fem!Waldo costume while holding a sign with Where's Waldo's picture on it and the question "Have you seen this man?" and having a random family point to this old guy saying "Yes, yes! He's right here!" cause the old guy's name was actually Waldo and shaking his hand, feeling like the ultimate winner!

Very classy, very classy indeed.
I may be going to a con in a few weeks, actually. It isn't a pop culture con, though, it's a gaming con called Too Many Games. My friend told me about it, it's only $25 for a weekend pass (super cheap!) and he's gonna be on a panel on the last day. It's gonna be awesome!~

He does Let's Plays on youtube, so I assume it's something concerning that. I doubt it has anything to do with his Abriged seriesessesesessese given that it's a gaming con. Either way, I'm going.
Sounds neat!~
