I fell in love with 's 'Hot Pink' series of photos and had to draw it
The face looks more like Gwen Stefani than her - no matter how hard I tried I couldn't seem to get the lips right. Hmmm. But I'm quite pleased with the colouring on this. I just hope Love-n-mascara doesn't mind me doing this pic!
Inspiration for the style of line & shading etc as always came from Shane Glines and Bruce Timm's artwork, and two artists on dA who I adore - and <---- check them out!

I knew I'd find some mistakes eventually
I think the part I worked longest on was the rough sketch to et the pose right - it took me ages to make a decision and as a sketch it looked 'right', but that doesn't always pay off when I start to colour it.

I'm really pleased with how this one came out. Well, I am now because I've just finished. By tomorrow I'll have spotted all the mistakes and I'll hate it..... arg.
