This took me forever. Seriously. Ugh.For Marker Rendering class. I thought it would be much easier at first, and as irony would have it, the color changes -even as a monochrome- f**ked me up.
Do tell me what you guys think as this is by far the most time I've spent on a digital painting.
And why the title? Well, the black bishop is within killing range of the white knight. Then again, the knight itself is within the clutches of the black queen.

Still, I love how you color things and the brushstrokes. ^^ They look real enough to be a photograph but still retain their style.

Haha, that's how the lecturers intend our artwork to be. The brush strokes are meant to follow the characteristics of the object itself.
