Description Birthday gift for a coworker who owns and rescues Boxers. Materials- handmade paper from Asia, black construction paper, graphite, x-acto knife, glue sticks.

The pattern is a form of extreme piebald I do not advise intentionally breeding for. The dog I referenced it on was born deaf because of it.

Really? How come cartoons or other media just love to depict one-black-eyed boxers?

I don’t know. Hopefully it doesn’t encourage people to go looking for one without doing research first.

I didn't do any research when I picked my dog from the RSPCA, thankfully he turned out fine. (He was the cutest little mongrel puppy of the lot, for consideration)

Yeah, it often turns out fine. I just hate to think of all the people getting deaf dogs without realizing it until it comes time to try training.

Oh, oww. Is there a way to detect deafness from squidgy-ball stage, or at least earlier than that?

I’m not sure at what age you can start, but there are tests to determine an estimate of quality of hearing. You can probably tell in an exam by the time the puppy is old enough to leave the mother.

The test probably includes opening a can of dog food without smell :3
