I have been trying to get shots of one in my garden, he has been trying to hover to get food from a log i put in, very unusual to watch, light has been poor but will try again.

Nice shot. I like the natural blending of the colors in the backgroud with the colors in the feathers. As always, nice sharp focus. Good thing you keep your windows clean.

i saw one the other day, it came very close however i didn't have a camera, was a gutter. This however is a gorgeous shot. You should be proud of yourself!
