Because, how could we differentiate between the two, the things that don't matter and humans, the most significant group of specimens on earth without "everyone" and "everything"?
But if we were other species, would we still call others in our species "everyone" to respect that they are individuals and not like the rest of the world?

that's actually very interesting.. because as humans, we're pompous and proud.. so as.. say um.. a mouse or lion or something, would we be more down-to-earth? i don't think it's something our human brains could grasp onto because it's something we could never experience!

i know a lot of male animals are proud or else they wouldn't own females the way they do, like baboons and lions. Other animals aren't nearly as proud... but humans are they worst. Even if God isn't real, pride is still something that should be kept to a minimum, it starts wars, unnecessary arguments, and disputes. Maybe one day we could be more like mice and down-to-earth?

My friend had ten kittens. When she started to feed them they climbed over her, they dropped everything left on tables and peed everywhere. :'D
