Lemmonade, do you do requests? I got some interesting weapon designs for a Fallout fic I'm doing that is based on the Fallout 3 mod Mothership Zeta Crew mod. Awesome mod so far, hopefully they complete it soon.
If you accept this request, then call me for specs.

Ah, one of my fav guns in the world, the Fabrique Nationale F2000 5.56mm assault rifle. The thing on top is actually just a funky Red Dot sight, though there's a version which adds in fire control for the grenade launcher. You lase the target, then the gun tells you at what angle to aim so the grenade will land on-target, thus turning you into a mobile light mortar. The F2000 was, I believe, the first gun to integrate that particular grenade launcher. Interesting note on the F2000, it ejects spent casings through the front of the gun using a chute.

This gun is fucking dope. Named FT F200M in STALKER, was the fucking best assault rifle in Shadow of Chernobyl, but they nerfed it like a bitch in Clear Sky, fuck.
You seem to be pretty much /k/ dweller.

Skariaxil In reply to GWARins-Knight [2008-03-11 21:51:10 +0000 UTC]
Well, no, it's just a 5.56mm rifle, and weighs about 4Kg (no sights or grenade launchers, it's a little heavier than the M16, and has similar recoil i think). To contradict something else you said in your conversation with lemmonade^^: There is a civilian version available, with 19" or 20" barrel (instead of 18"), semi auto only.
And yes I am a gun-nut and am completely facinated/obsessed by them.

^^ It's okay, I wasn't completely right eihter. The standart FN F2000 has a 400mm (about 16") barrel, and the civilian version a, well, i don't really know, from the picture it looks like an 18". Evenso, it's quite familiar to me (used to be SC addict^^).

Nah, we won't tell them. I'll hide the rifle in the toilet bowl, and ad a pressure sensitive trigger mechanism to the seat. though I gotta make sure no one else'll use that toilet.

Yeah . . . . . Americans do stupid stuff, though there is 1 Japanese guy who outranks them all by atleast 16738 times. (rides a racing bike of a hill at 112 mph, which then snaps in half. comments the poster gave: "they alwas say that japanese stuff is way more reliable than american or european stuff, so a non-japanese bike riding down a hill at 112 mhp must either spontanously combust, or turn into a grizzly bear, which then mauls at you."
No offence to americans though.
