quite nice. it's a pity the creative commons licence doesn't seem to allow personal customization (ie. i can't set the font colors brighter, can't apply a personalized header to it etc, since derivative works are prohibited.)

Now this rocks! Anyway you can make this into a mod for DA in Stylish for Firefox?! I hate the default color scheme and I have it all black now with Stylish, but a lot of buttons and other things don't show up. I would love to cruise DA like this...like it should have been designed in the first place! Doh! Excellent work and congratulations on the DD!

Stylish basically overrides any CSS either globally or for specific sites set with domains. I have an all black global mod I use for it and it's great! The only problem is some features don't show up like certain graphics and poll meters here on DA, etc.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a global CSS mod for every page like you have here, but a DA mod would be muy fantastico! Thanks for the response and great work again on that style!

Well, if you can get in there and weed out the bright florescent colors they picked that only Hellen Keller would enjoy, I would be eternally grateful! I don't know why they decided on such bright colors for an art site as you can barely focus on the images without sunglasses. LOL

hehe. I think I understand why it's bright colors, since I work on web design and developping for a while now. Black/dark colors are the favorite for artists sure. But redability is really lowered for that, and DA is a hugeeeeeee communitary website, where you cannot force the users to have a hard time reading (comments, journals, profiles etc). Looks at all this huge CMS websites (facebook, youtube, dailymotion etc etc) they are all based on bright backgrounds
