Fun fact, my parents never got me a bike because my mom was afraid that I would run away if i had one. And because of that I don't know how to ride a bike. great work by the way.

probably not, And even if I wanted to. there's no way that my asthma would cooperate with me.
running with everything i got for three minutes will knock the wind out of me for about a good 20 minutes.

I think the majority of children "running away" are looking for adventure, not escaping anything worse than a promised spanking.

I love this one! The styling is really nice! And the idea of adventure is often evident in your works! Maybe it's not a bad thing - running away that is... All adventures start from "getting out" and leaving the comfort zone.. maybe you have a lot of freedom and exploration ahead of you

With a lot of your illos involving children by themselves I wouldn't have though twice about an underlying message!
But really, there's just something so motivational and magical about children taking on the world. Even if romanticized I was always fond of that concept since childhood; Chipmunks Adventure, Kiki's Delivery Service, Pippi Longstocking... Don Bluth films lol
