Description Did I say that Dead Space kicks serious ass? Why, you ask.. well. let's break it down...

1). Engineers are the sexiest species of human on the face of the planet. I've always had quite the soft spot for them, and now a game that really glorifies one - well, that just seals the deal for me. Isaac is definitely my hero of the moment.

2). The game just friggin rocks. It's the most innovative, stressful and of course frightening game I've played in a long time. It's been quite a while since I played a game that literally had me jumping up and down on the couch, shaking in complete anxiety running from the Necromorphs, just hoping I make it to the door in time to escape. I've even had to abruptly turn the PS3 off occasionally because the moments just got too heated for me, not to mention the controller has been tossed angrily at the screen a few times... *sheepish grin*. Pissed me off at the time, but in reflection means it was far entertaining. (FYI, it's the best when played in the dark, with no lights on anywhere. Truly a gut-wrenching experience. I haven't been this shaken since Ravenholm.)

3). The characters and storyline are awesome. I might even on a good day dare say it excels the expectations of Half Life (Although HL has far greater character potential and subsequent endearment, which for me is the most important aspect of any game.. It doesn't matter how great a game is, if the characters suck, then it just isn't worth getting into. Luckily Dead Space is in no danger of that type of sucketry, although the dialogue isn't quite as catchy as Alyx's little quirps, Magnusson's domineering presence, Gordon's solemn silence and Kleiner's constant hankering to find Lamaar). I'll have to wait and see if EP3 sizes up.

4). C'mon... he's got the coolest suit and helmet EVER. I almost don't even care if I ever see the face behind it (I haven't finished it yet, so I'm not sure if we ever do - no spoilers, please). Sorry Samus, yes it's even better than yours. But don't worry, girl - your place in my heart is still assured.

But enough of my ranting.. I posted something, didn't I? Well, it's a far cry from the love I have for the game... my fandom far exceeds my talent, but was still fun to make, nonetheless.

The style looks similar to Earthworm Jim, but that's just me, probably. And Engineers are awesome! ROCK ON, LEKS!

I really lkike that 'animated' sort of style you drew Isaac in, it's interesting.

It never really scared me, I tried, I turned the lights out, played it at night, with headphones, nearly on eardrum-busting full blast, but it didn't scare me...guess i'm just Balls-to-the Walls Hardcore... :T

The first time I played it, I was really terrified! I dunno, I think the horror elements in the game are fantastic. But different people are different. X3

Move out of the way Nomad from Crysis and Master Chief from Halo, Issac Clarke from Dead Space is here to kick some serious necro-ass.
Good sketch. And I love Dead Space... even tho I've pretty much beaten it 110% >.=.<

Haha, you are too funny. I never managed to get into either of those games - Crysis I only played on PC for a few minutes, and Halo, well - I have both 2 and 3, and still somehow the game never managed to pull me in. I don't know why. I guess Halo is one of those strange anomalies, where although all the principles are in place (good game, good story, good backbone), there was still something unexplainable missing for me. :/ At any rate, how do you beat a game 110%? I'm curious. Do you know something that I don't? (Please don't tell me)

<.=.< well when you remember every item spawn, zombie location, piece of dialogue, and to top that off have done everything there is to do with that game (which isn't much) then you have a 110% completion ^.=.^
