The smallest light in the darkness meant everything.Thank you.
Finally finished this painting after a year, or two? I know I've said this a lot but man am I so happy to have the time to paint again.
This painting is in reference to the On Kindness journal entry , which, oh boy, yeah, was two years ago.Β

I like the foreground, it adds a cute border. If it were me, I would reduce the light a little, at least around her legs and dress because her hands are blocking the light, but then theres still light there. My suggestion (if you don't mind) is to use light to control the composition. Put the light only where you want people to see, like the face and a little on the torso, it'll make for a more intense/dynamic painting I think
