...because this story is slightly Everyone X Rin.
(Well... I've already decided that MephistoRin won't be happening--even though I kind of think it should--because... no one would have a chance of beating him to get Rin if he liked him. ||orz
As for AmaimonRin, hmm... not sure where to put that... so maybe won't be happening either... x'D
Which means, I guess you can assume that MephistoAmaimon is going on somewhere! Because... I don't think they'll appear in this story... which is odd because Mephistio SHOULD appear, huh... ohhh weeelll...)

I always found Shima to be kind of lame with how he gave up on things really easily. x'D
So this chapter is mostly addressing how depressing it can be that he's like that.
But actually, after writing several chapters from his point of view, I think I've grown to really like him.
Especially because he kinda reminds me of myself...
I'm really lame, too. And in the past, I gave up on things too easily. Or just never tried.
So, by writing this story, I'll be kind of channeling my own feelings of frustration through~
I also came to like him a lot more now because while writing him, I realize that he's still in the middle of growing and there's a lot for him to learn (about other people and himself). That's always a lot of fun to write~
Plus, out of all the other characters, I guess he's the most realistic (the person who flails around when things happen and doesn't really have much of a strong ambition or goal/duty that people like Rin, Yukio, Shiemi, Ryuuji, and Koneko have).
Even though at first I hadn't paid much attention to him at all, now my eye is always looking out for him... haha~ (Recent chapter of Ao no Exorcist manga made me really happy...!! I got to know so much more about how he thinks...!!)
My favorite character is, of course, still Rin though~ o 3 o

Yes, the recent chapter was really good~ I'm glad we got to hear a bit more about the Shima family. I was not expecting that.
I agree!! Shima is my second favorite. I really hope they show him becoming a fighter cause he would be really awesome in a fight with Rin cause Shima has a medium range weapon!
