Oh my, this poor Ralph ornament has quite the story! I started working on this piece in December of 2012, because I was really sad that I couldn't find any cool Wreck-It Ralph Christmas ornaments. Unfortunately, time got away from me, and I wasn't able to finish him in time to put on the Christmas tree. I finished the sculpting on him in January, prepped him for painting, and just got super busy preparing for Megacon! Poor Ralph then sat on my desk unpainted for nearly an entire year, until I finally decided to pick him back up and paint him. I finished him just in time to put on my tree for this past Christmas!
Ralph is made from a mixture of Super Sculpey/Sculpey Firm polymer clay over a wire and foil armature, and painted with acrylics.
