Many years ago, I had the honor and thrill of meeting the Ultimate Warrior at the San Diego Comic Con.  That’s why when he died so unexpectedly, I felt like a piece of my youth had passed on with him. I’m sure many felt the same.  However, I was grateful that he was able to make peace with the WWE and reaffirm his legacy as one of all time greats when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.  I hope my painting captures a little of that color, excitement, and intensity he brought to all us long time wrestling fans.  Like he said on RAW, the Warrior will run forever!

Your painting really gives out a very vibrant and energetic feeling, which really reflects the Ultimate Warrior character (or at least, from what little I know of him). Your choice of colors really helped out in making this painting vibrant.

This is a wonderful tribute. And you're right, at least the issues he has had with the WWE had finally been settled before he passed away. May his soul rest in peace.

Thanks for noticing.  The Warrior always wore colorful outfits to match his colorful personality. He was bigger than life. Now that he's gone, he'll be remembered as the legend he was.
