I loved drawing Nadya and imagine how she would look under her hat and heavy clothes and depicting all her braids and her perfect bangs!The original art of her was made by the amazing MiguelRegodon and I knew I wouldn't match the quality or come close so I just did my own thing and tried to keep her essence.
This is the original piece. I really admire Miguel's work. If you have some time take a look to his art!

Oh it looks striking indeed, I love that piece of art indeed made of her, it's so pretty, so lively! I do feel as though, her eyebrows look a little thin for a woman of her caliber, She's really pretty though!

I also thought that her eyebrows were too thin, especially with my tendency to make wider eyebrows, but they were so thin on the original that I chose to keep them as they were.
I have a cousin who loves making her eyebrows really thin and I cannot but think of her. I am on the opposite spectrum xD

Nadya es una superviviente y una mujer endurecida por las circunstancias, así que darle una mirada estoica sonaba apropiado.

Y no me sorprende que le haya gustado a la creadora entonces, porque es una adaptación muy fiel en ese caso, si bien veo que igual le has dado tu vuelta de tuerca! que expresión de anciana que use jaja

Muchas gracias! Estoy practicando mucho los retratos y este era todo un reto porque ya existía material previo de gran calidad y crear algo diferente y que a la vez mantenga la esencia es complicado.
