a bit late but nvm. There is an easteregg in witcher 2 depicts dead assasin under the tower. It is a jab at assasin creed of course. Judging by the -first picture, there might be similar jab in one of newer assasins creed game that targets witcher. Squirrels are elven(and dwarven) freedom fighters.

Actually to be precise it is the common tongue for "scoia'tael" The name of the group led by Iorveth, mainly of elves but there are a few dwarves.
(I'll leave the comment unchanged but this is actually from my brother who is currently obsessed with Witcher 2 not me)
