That was a very good motion tracking skill right there XD. But since I am not a HEMA guy so if what I am about to say is wrong then, just ignore it lol: The knight's motion on the right side was very well made, but the knight's on the left however, seems to be a little bit "clunky": his first strike was fine, his next swing seems to be a bit stiff, elbows were not retracting, wrists were not rotating much made it looks like he did not swing it at all. And the end was sort of a winning move delivered by the knight on the right or a sudden lose from the knight on the left side, so the knight's movement on the left should have been more like a sudden stop, I think his right should go way back and stop immediately as the opponent drop the metal on him. Make him a little bit scared as if it was gonna killed him XD.
But still, that was just from my perspective and opinion, and overall you did a very good job on the motion. Although it was just a 2s (ish) of the fight, but the process was about at least 4hrs straight XDĀ

well what happened is:
1st stage: they swing their sword at each other and make a bind (2 blades touch each other)
2nd stage: Righty (I'll refer to them as Lefty and Righty) point the tip of her blade to Lefty's eye hole and ready to thrust
3rd stage: Lefty realized that and push her sword along with Righty's tip upward to the left
4th stage: Righty adjust herself to an Ochs guard (see my Longsword pose) and ready for a second thrust
5th stage: Lefty saw that and swing her sword to the left as Righty thrust
6th stage: Lefty deflect Righty sword but Righty used the momentum to come back for a cut
the second strike u talkin about is more of a panic deflect and the guy in the video I based on do had rather straight arms in the deflect, it does seems weak compare to the original tho. Guess I messed up the timing and angle. As for the ending, I was too lazy .
Oh they're gals btw.

oh yeah remember the archer stuff I was talking about? well I need to correct 1 thing about the recurve bow, the arrows from that bow didn't flap around when loose really, I was using a low poundage bow, that's why it flap around. yeah I know my bad.

I wish it was longer and more intense then that tho. Sadly real sword fight tend to end very quickly. sometimes the viewer didn't even know what just happened before them. maybe I'll make an other longer fight sequence with some more exaggeration (no sword push tho, nobody do sword push)
Ā
And yeh, I also tried learning HEMA at home to have a better feel for the motion and to analyze it (with 2 broken swords....so far and a worry some chandelier, maybe I should stick to archery).
