Description Its been a long while since I've done any large builds out of System bricks. And this past weekend I was at the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert in Minneapolis, so in preparation, I built this shield based upon the starting shield in Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

It took me maybe three hours to get it right, including the strap on the back so I could hold it on my arm. I also used the golden bricks from my Triforce build to implement them into the shield itself. By far one of my finest builds to date, in my personal opinion.

The bird crest was a little worrisome when I got the bricks out to build it, but I am happy with the results. And thank you

You're very welcome An event like that is once in a life time for most of us, and how often do you come across someone geeky enough to build and bring a Lego creation to a concert?

The main challenge I had was scaling the shield to the Trifoce itself. Once I figured that out, I built the frame first and then filled in. The last challenging part of this build was the arm strap. I just used a bunch of flex hing pieces to make it hold and stay in the shape I wanted it in the back.

Thank you kindly, I have a few more projects in mind that I'm not entirely sure I'll get to this year due to work starting to get crazy, but we shall see.
