Alexander Hexington, wielder of the Hexamatrix, dark hero of earth and an alter of The Curator..Lex Hex.
Growing up on the Blueberry Barrens of Eastern Maine, 10 year old Lex was always a bit isolated from the world and it’s problems but still held tightly to his instincts and morals, often spending his time wandering through the wilderness, pondering existence. One fateful night, Lex sat as he usually did, staring out into the vast expanse when he spotted something he’d never seen..a strange, glowing green circle in the sky. From this circle fell what appeared to be a Meteor, landing several yards from Lex. Overcome with curiousity, Lex bolted off into the night to investigate. Upon reaching the crater, Lex discovers a strange, baseball sized metal orb. Driven by curiosity to reach for it, the orb suddenly melts and flings itself upon Lex, latching on to his forearm and enveloping it. In a panic, Lex tries to remove it, accidentally transforming himself for the first time into Gruffian. In his earliest years, the Hexamatrix only had 6 aliens unlocked.

Lex, being a fairly intelligent child quickly saw the function and purpose of the Hexamatrix, to stave off unnecessary extinction and allow for a truly unique understanding of life beyond Earth.
Lex would spend his childhood learning the ins and outs of working the Hexamatrix and at the age of 16, would leave the modern world and take to the wilderness. There he would stay for the next several years, sometimes spending weeks at a time in a single form in order to form a true understanding of the lifeforms he uses. He wouldn’t return to the modern world until the age of 22, driven by a coming supernatural invasion to assume his role as Earths one man army..Lex Hex.
Lex is a bit different than many Omnitrix wielders, being far darker more grounded in his instincts, though he is still a good person that’s almost infuriatingly sarcastic.
