Here it is... this is the request fanart I have been working on for a LONG TIME. has asked me to draw InuYasha & Kagome with their children: Aslaug and Thunderbolt.Meredith, I'm so sorry it took forever for me to work on this but I had a hard time correcting everything (and I mean everything!) I had my friend look it over since she's taken art classes and has been drawing for years.
I haven't drawn anything since probably last year so I'm really rusty. I should start practicing again just like I did in high school

I'm glad to be of help on the finer points of the anatomy and the the proportions, Leena-chan. Hai, I've taken all of the art classes at a local junior college, Glendale Community College which is totally worth it, and I've been drawing my whole life which -chan knows all too well. 
If you haven't been drawing for a week or even a year it can become pretty scary to begin to draw again. I know this is true due to my having the worst-ever Artist's Block in 2005 which was like a nightmare, and boy did it take me a long time to fight back to get my Inspiritation back. The human figure is the hardest to draw (and which is why you asked me for help and pointers!), I have a lot of problems with the hips, legs and arms which is much better right now. I'm always getting much better, and am constantly learning and improving on my artwork. 
I know we're both in the same boat in trying to improve on our being really rusty (which is slowly getting back to what it used to be before the last 2 of the trio of the acrylic landscape paintings of Lancaster took over). If you need any help on the human figure or just to practice again - just play around and let your mind wonder. Photos and magazines can also be a huge help for pics.
Would anyone like to see the references I drew for my friend, -chan to draw this pic? I hope it's alright with you, Meredith-chan aka *Irukaslover1985 .

(I've been drawing a lot of new ideas for the world of my SM OCs and new fan art for the cast of SAILOR MOON. Have to say I'm planning on drawing a pic of Darien Shields/Tuxedo Mask and Seiya Lights/Sailor Star Fighter for the fun of it. You'll love the pic I drew last night.

I'm very happy with just doing my best when it comes to drawing, and those kissing scenes are pretty hard to get right. True on the mark on both of us working hard on our artwork over the years we've known each other, lol. Hope you'll like what I've drawn so far.
My mom and I went to see the 2nd part of the "HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS" movie last night, yet we didn't know it was a double-feature with HP #7 Parts 7A and 7B so I'm pretty exhausted from staying up really late. We didn't get back home until 3:07AM yesterday morning.

Oh it's yay! I've always ran into such silly problems when it came to drawing a couple kissing in high school, lol. Lol yeah you're right on it being very hard, yet hai we've gotta practice, right.
I will tell you to go see it asap when you can! It's very good. Shall let you know it was a very pleasant surprise for me, and I bumped into an old friend, Faryl from middle school and CVHS. Yup! Yeah 3:07AM is pretty late to my internal clock, ugh. Will say it takes 2 days to recover from being up so late. Yes I did take some great photos of the HARRY POTTER Cosplayers. I'll do it soon, it's going to be fun to post them up on my DA Art Gallery page later on.
What day is the best for you to come on over, Sakura-chan? I'm not doing much painting wise, and I'll be house and pet-sitting this week for 2 neighbors. Nearly done with the 1' x 2' "Poppies Galore" acrylic-on-canvas landscape painting. This one became a real challenge to get it right.

I would let you know if you draw another "kissing" sketch make certain to have a line on where the mouths of the couple will touch one another and make it a gentle "S-shaped" curve...Have to say I discovered this by chance and it worked out just fine. It's just a matter of taking your time on drawing it, and it will look pretty decent lol. I can't wait to get your comments on them as soon as you can.
I know you'd enjoy HP #7 Part 2 a lot, and go see it!!!
Yeah Faryl-chan. I completely agree with you on not seeing her for a really long time, yet she knew it was me when I said her name. You never know until you bump into her by chance like I did, yet I enjoyed it a lot.
I'm not doing much on Wednesday and Thursday is when I work from 9 to 10AM. Shall agree with you on Wednesday, 7/20/11 around 1:30PM will be fine. Haven't had the chance to see any more of the Ranma 1/2 anime on YouTube. I'm laughing my butt off at Kuno's reaction to Botan in her cursed guy form.

Well it's the "S-shape" is to show where the 2 mouths of the couple will be once you finish doing the basic structure lines of the human figures, right on. I know, it's also a good idea to keep in mind where you want the angle of the head to be 3/4 view is a favorite head pose of mine, yet I'm trying my hardest to not get dependent on it. 
I'm very happy I saw it, and I ran into an old friend.

I've always enjoyed it a lot when we get together to just hang out, and I'll keep on listening for either your call if you're going to be on time or going to be late. Certainly will let you know what I think of the Ranma 1/2 anime on YouTube, I would let you know I got the link to it on my Facebook wall, and I shall tell you I did check it out by cheering like a nut when Akane and Ranma FINALLY FINALLY held each other's hands. I can tell Kuno's going to be a complete dunce and jump to conclusions which aren't true much to Ranma-chan's and Botan-kun's annoyance at being in their cursed forms of the body-changing curse. Akane will be a little concerned for both of them...Yes it's going to be really hilarious!

I don't know how Botan's uncle, Genji Tancho will react to Ranma and Akane following Botan home and all. This will be after Botan beats up silly Kuno.
