Bright and colorful, the anime style still has a distinct flair with the body proportions, and the artist shows a good ability with expression (I love the smirk). The vibrant colors are good, as well — good pattern, and vivid color play. The coloring appears even, with minimal visible pen-marks... but no believable shadowing, either. And the hair coloring doesn't really look like hair.
The presentation of the piece is... amateurish. To better display the work, the piece should be scanned, not photographed with what looks like a cell phone — or at the very least, the piece should be photographed in bright, even light with no shadows, with the whole piece in focus, and properly cropped. If this piece were submitted to I-Heart-Colors , a group that I am involved with, it would be declined for this reason.
A background would further add to the sense of completion of the piece — and give the artist more color to play with.
That having been said — keep drawing! Keep practicing! Find stock models to learn anatomy from — positioning, lighting, color... keep a folder of works that inspire you, and try to learn from them, figuring out what it is you like about them. Keep developing your own style and vision — I can't draw for beans, and it makes me sad! So please don't show this critique, if you find it too harsh, and I hope I have at least helped a little...

Seriously? I'm impressed! As I said, I can't draw for beans... sigh. Wish I could.

Aw, MAN! Is it just me, or do they manufacture scanners and printers with a built-in "break by" date, these days? Sheesh.

thank you ! my second time coloring with copic markers .. still trying to get the hang of them . I like them better than digitally coloring . I try a little harder to make the picture good because if i mess up with the copic markers i cant just erase my last mark lol

Yes i know what you mean about digitally coloring... there is something about traditional art that is gratifying. I will tell you a secret!!! A lot of artists on deviant art don’t realize but the drawing is everything!! If your base drawing is not tight then the end result will suffer. You are getting better and better at drawing/draftsmanship. Keep up the great work!!
