Description This is a picture of my dog. Not surprisingly his name is Oddie, because of his odd eyes. Despite what you might think he can see perfectly in both eyes.

He is a Blue Healer cross Border Collie, however we think he has some Red Healer in him as well because he has brown-red patches on his legs.

He is a very good dog and I have taught him many tricks, now we have realised that he is very smart... perhaps too smart for his own good. We always wondered what would happen if he had thumbs.

Thank you for useful link! I don't know much about dog breeds and genes (and it's even worse in English, as it's not my native language), but the page seems to be full of useful information

Healers are a very common and popular breed in Australia. I think they are an Australian breed, very common as cattle dogs on farms. If you want to see a pure breed just google image "blue healer" and you'll get pictures.

Yeah, the reason we got him is because my Mum walked past the pet shop and fell in love with his eyes, she went back again and again just to look at him. Then we finally bought him

You have such a lovely dog, and his eyes are AWESOME

what would happen if he had thumbs?

He'd quickly learn how to open doors (and everything else), and we'd have trouble on our hands
