Warning: SPOILERS included! Please skip the comments if you haven't seen Transformers: Dark of the Moon yet!Humanized version of Megatron from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The movie was great, but the Decepticons in TF3 were so lame... It's hard to imagine these evil robots could fight the war this long before they came to Earth. And Megatron was OOC. Way to ruin our dear formidable villain, Bay.
I was listening to Evanescence's Eternal when I drew this pic. The song inspired me a lot and now I'm planning to do more art for those Decepticons who deserved more screen time but never had their chance...
So this picture is dedicated to all the TF fans who're not happy about Michael Bay's version of Megatron and all the other Decepticons in the last installment of Bay's Transformers trilogy.

I really admire all the autobots but I look up to Optimus more than any of them. If only people could be like Optimus....y'know?

I don't really know either, I just looked at his face and my brain immediately said Jesus. But wouldn't it be awesome if megatron became the new protector of humanity and OP became evil after the events of TF3

Yes, he did get some severe injuries from Optimus in ROTF. Guess that's why he looked so miserable in the third movie.

Pardon my language, but I was pissed at this movie. All the predecessors to it were awesome, but then Bay went and killed off all the decepticons who are supposed to live. I mean, damn! Shockwave was supposed to be the main villain, but Bay had to add the huge betrayal with Sentinel Prime! Don't get me wrong, it was a good twist and all, I admit it. And I'm not a huge fan of the autobots, but Watching Ironhide die Killed me on the inside. (Despite how much I laughed at him XD) All I'm saying is Bay could've done far better than this movie.

Oh, I understand your feelings. The first movie was great, but ROTF and DOTM just kind of ruined it. I wanted to strangle Bay when all those Decepticons got killed in a rather pathetic way in DOTM. And how could they forget Ironhide so soon? The way the humans and the Autobots treated the fallen warrior didn't make any sense. It's like poor 'Hide was never their comrade because nobody gave a shit about his death.
Anyway, despite the horrible things we saw in Bay's films, I'm still willing to go watch TF4 this summer. Saw the trailer and thought the movie might be better than ROTF or DOTM.

I wanna see it too. Maybe Bay did a better job this time. It's a shame The main actor guy stepped down, so he's replaced by Mark Wahlburg. A rather good actor.

Actually I'm not really that depressed about the main character change. Sure, Sam Witwicky was an interesting character in the first and second movies, but I think his role had lost the potentials in DOTM. It's nice to have some change and view everything from another new character's POV.
And I'd love to see Mark Wahlberg's role as a protective father. I'm getting a little bit tired of the theme of horny teenagers and their robot friends, so it's good to see a more mature leading male role this time.

I can agree with that. It would be nice to see a change of perspective. I think it's the same girl from DOTM, though. If it is, then what the heck? Did the new guy jack Sam's girlfriend? XD

No, it's a different girl. Sam's girlfriend in DOTM is Carly (played by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.) The blonde girl we saw in the TF4 movie trailer is Tessa Yeager (played by Nicola Peltz.)
I don't really like Carly's role in DOTM, so it's nice to know that we get to see a new leading female role this time.

I think it's nice in general to have an all out cast change. I certainly hope they bring back all the transformers that died in DotM. Soundwave and Shockwave were my favorite.

I hope we can see some familiar robots in this movie. Sadly those bots who died in the previous movies won't be back in AOE. Aside from Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet and Brains, all the Cybertronians are new faces.

Didn't Brains die with wheelie in the gun ship? If i remember right, they both died.

They did? I know Brains and Wheelie were stuck in that warship when the ship went down, but the movie didn't tell us whether they died or not. So I simply assume they were still alive. No body, no death. That's how I view the characters in Bay's TF movies when the said characters' fate remained unexplained.

I assumed there was an explosion. They are rather tiny (and cute XD) so any initial explosion would've took them both apart. That's been my Logic on these kinds of things. I may be wrong, but only time will tell in the next movie. I'm glad they're finally bringing in the Dinobots.

I just read the official novel of DOTM, and in the story both Brains and Wheelie survived the explosion. They were too small, so they managed to get away when other larger bots got killed due to the explosions and the free fall.
And it's good to see the Dinobots on big screen. I'm so excited about this movie.

The Insecticons were so lame in ROTF. I can't believe Bay simply created those useless tiny flying robots and called them "Insecticons." That was so degrading. I don't think anyone would be happy after seeing Bay's version of Insecticons.

And then there was that thin thing that stole the last shard of the cube. I think that was an insecticon, because I don't know what else it could've been.

This is still an AWESOME humanisation. All that is missing is his weapon and a bit of his muscles. To relate him to his Cyberon self.

The Decepticons seemed sooo...weak in DOTM. That's the only thing I didn't like bout that movie. That and the fact every one of them was killed off.
And this picture is absolutely wonderful. He looks so tragic. And I love how the blood and gashes on his arms and face look c:
