Description
Commissioned by Harrison Kade.
On a grey, misty day, a row is kicked up as a group of Hypsilophodon disturb the peace of a foraging Polacanthus. A more brightly coloured male gives chase to a competitor, spooking the females in the process. The Polacanthus is an imposing obstacle, but not an insurmountable one. A collection of Iguanodon gaze on at the racket from a distance.
Trees like the Psuedofrenelopsis in the background were mostly relegated to grow around waterways - the region of the Wessex formation is thought to be more akin to chaparral in its climate, semi-arid with intermittent flooding.
