I already got a pretty cool (no pun intended) build with her if you're interested; she's my second main mage, so I've had time to experiment a bit.

Nah, I don't use Guardian Angel, it hinders my peak AP and mana regen. I get Doran's Ring at first, then Kage's Pick. I probably should get boots after that, but I actually start building Archangel's Staff before I do.
After first level boots, a Soul Shroud is nice for mana regen and survivability... and oftentimes that's when the game ends... but if it goes on, I usually get Void Staff or Abyssal Scepter (Doran's Ring is sold already and Kage's Pick will also be because I don't build Deathfire Grasp...) and then Zhonya's Ring. Mejai's Soulstealer could easily be included into that build as well, but for some reason I don't use it. Probably should get used to buying it as soon as I see my kill/assist count climbing...

First I get Catalyst cuz it ensures surviving,then boots of Mobility.After that I usually start building Guardian angel and then get Chalice of Harmony somewhere in between.Near the end of the game i get Rod of the ages cuz Catalyst wont be of much help anymore,Void Staff for the AP and sometimes Needlessly large Rod.
I tend to build Anivia as the idiot that just doesn't want to die and ends up kicking your ass in the end.

Haha, that seems like a good survivor build indeed!
I myself prefer building Anivia as a semi-fragile nuke because that's more useful in teamfights as I see it, though; staying behind dealing huge damage instead of going directly forward into the action dealing moderate damage.
I don't think I've faced many tank Anivias, though (nor have I ever faced many Anivias to begin with...), so I wouldn't really know all that much about how others build her. I'll have to look into tank builds.

Truth is,I find it easier if you go mid at the beginning just harassing the enemy and surviving ganks so you end up like 4/1/0 and then later in game you spam glacial storm and frostbite during battle to not only assist but score a few kills and then harass with flash frost when the enemy turret hugs.
It's easier to play her early in game cause ganking you is useless if your egg's ready.You revive and smack'em in the face.

Hmm, that does make sense. I wouldn't go through a game without my trusty Archangel's Staff, though. XD
