I may have been heavily inspired by deerchip. I mashed three different prehistoric fish together because I couldn’t make up my mind which I wanted to doart and design (c) Lear-is-not-amused

Fabulously grotesque. I can see the beak of one of those bony plated fish and the spiral jaw of the weird shark like creature, but I don't know the third. Beautiful mermaids are overrated, this one has personality and maybe a lot of self image complexes - or maybe not!

yeah, I am not sure if there's a third one or not, I just looked at a bunch of prehistoric fish and drew what came to mind.
they just consume mindlessly, I imagine that they're three times the size of a regular mermaid
