I'll just write the sort of plot here, in anyone is interested.
After the Crystalling, and Flurry Heart's Coronation, Twilight had found the remains of Sombra's horn, just outside of the Empire. She decided to take it with her back to her castle for study.
She had left it alone in her Library, not knowing that the dark magics of Sombra still remained. The evening after, the magic had crept up on her, taking over her in her sleep.
The next morning, Twilight crept around the castle, much to Spike's confusion. Once he found what had happened to her, he tried to help her.
Twilight, not having any of it in her brainwashed state, blasted him with a beam of dark magic, scarring Spike on his eye.
After a few weeks, The rest of the Main Six got called to the Map, all but Twilight's Cutie Mark and Spike showed up, the rest hovering over the castle.
