Well yeah but there are many interesting stories too I've even done my thesis for the three years university degree on the history of the first colonization in the U.S. and I found many interesting books about it!

Oh yes, I took a whole class on that and wrote my paper on how the British viewed the manners of American colonials.

Yes! I was just teaching my sister about the French Revolution and all the other proletariate uprisings throughout history.

It is a lot of fun isn't it? I love any kind of uprising in history. So inspiring. Not that I support or identify with the ideals of the French Revolution, but just uprisings in general.

Well, the ideals of the French Revolution are something that can be referred to that moment in history only I guess... and also, they lead to one of the darkest moment in European history, the Jacobin dictatorship and the Terror (I obviously LOVE everything about the period but it doesn't mean I support anything of it, morally speaking XD). It's the reason why I find revolutions absolutely interesting from the historical point of view but on the ethic plan I feel completely detached from them, they always begin with beautiful ideals that one can truly share and end by killing many innocent people =/
