Daughter of a wealthy English nobleman, Lydia di Centauri is constantly fussed about, being dressed up, sent to tea, accompany guests, the usual of a girl of noble blood. But inside, she feels alone. She also has very few friends since other girls think she is weird. So Lydia spends her time talking to the housekeeper, and reading fantasy stories, wishing she could get out of her own world. Unlike her 4 sisters, who have blond hair and blue eyes with sweet dispositions, Lydia is the opposite, she is secluded and alone, and has jet black hair and starking purple eyes. She is also relatively short and has a weak build.

Hair/Eye Color: Onyx hair and Amethyst purple eyes with a hint of pink

Likes: Eating, reading, long fuzzy socks, the smell of carpet, mahogany wood, daydreaming, coffee.

Dislikes: Milk, ruffles, anything envolving acting sweet and gentle, her family history, math.

Personality: Lydia has a very...distinct personality. She is very straightforward and headstrong and even stubborn. She believes in standing up, but does not for her parents' sake. Lydia is also self sacrificing for others but can be rash sometimes. She loves getting comfy and stargazing. She also loves the night more than the day because she believes thats the only time stars can shine. (which is also symbolism of her inward personality, believing that she can only shine in the dark. Stars are usually kept hidden during the day, overpowered by the sun, but during the night, the constantly shine and provide light for the darkness). Her head is usually a million lightyears away, not in the clouds but in another galaxy.

This is my contest entry for *artistic-minds 's princess contest.
these two are BOTH lydia. this is showing her feeling sad, trapped, and lonely in her life as a "princess" but more free and happy as she is her true self.

I purposely inversed a lot of the colors to show contrast and symbolism since the sad Lydia is dressed in all pink/purple, feeling overwhelmed and hidden. The more open Lydia is dressed in black with hints of pink to show her versatility.

Also, the three marks under her eye show happiness and freedon whilst the two under the "other" Lydia show tears. They are linking arms to show they they are still co-related, they are connected.

Stripes show the high contrast in her personality.
Butterfly represents freedom.
Last name Centauri is connected to the star closest to Earth, Proxima Centauri, also referring back to stars symbolizing Lydia.
