Yes, you need practice. But it's very good for your standards, the shadows blend in well.

You should check out the remake of this drawing. I made it on the computer instead of the 3DS.

I've seen it. Looks great but I like cel-shading a lot more. The thing is I would do cel-shaded pics myself but I can't seem to pull it off for the life of me. Everytime I try it there's so much wrongness to see. So kudos to you.
