I use SAI first and put them into flash :3

It depends on how many frames you draw for one movement. C:

Wow this is amazing! Did you really redraw him every frame? If yes, it was really time consuming, right?Β
π: 0 β©: 1
LazyAmphy In reply to Nexeron [2013-11-10 11:55:35 +0000 UTC]
Yup, except for the dummy since i focus only on Typhlosion. It's kinda tiresome but it makes the animation look better (especially in sketch) rather than just copying that previous frame and edit only some part.

LazyAmphy In reply to Nexeron [2013-11-10 14:05:50 +0000 UTC]
Well, it always hard at the first time, just go for it if you want to C:, it might help you sketch faster in the future . You can start with doing a very rough sketch, don't worry how bad it looks. We probably worry too much about the quality when we draw so eventually we spent so much time just for 1 frame, this happens to me as well. If you use pts or SAI, make a new layer as for the next frame and lower the opacity of the old layer, so then you have a reference to redraw it

Nexeron In reply to LazyAmphy [2013-11-11 07:42:31 +0000 UTC]
So you made it with something like SAI?
I made my animations with adobe flash but it's painful for me to draw in flash.
How can I do it with SAI?
And yes I also work too much on my sketches. They almost always looks better than my lineart :0

LazyAmphy In reply to Nexeron [2013-11-11 08:34:01 +0000 UTC]
As for me, i use SAI because i can make more layers.
Consider the layer as a frame, so when i finish my first layer (frame), save it,Β make a new layer , and lower the opacity of the old one, so then i have a reference, i just need to trace it again, then edit some part that need to be changed, save it, and keep doing the same steps. That is how i draw frame by frame.Β But it's up to you to find out which way suit you best.
You can use photoshop also. Well, you still need photoshop anyway, in SAI you cannot save as png with transparent backgound
After all done the images (don't forget to name them in sequence), import them into flash and start to edit frames (on 1 or on 2) if you like.
