Sunset Shimmer and her friends had faced and overcome many threats in the past. But now they face a threat very different from the ones they faced before.
Unlike most of their past threats, this one has nothing to do with Equestrian Magic, but rather, it originated in the human world; Three animals, native to the human world, have been mutated by a mysterious pathogen, and transformed into giant, monstrous versions of themselves. George (an extremely rare albino gorilla), Ralph (a wolf) and Lizzie (a crocodile) have been mutated by this pathogen and have now entered their city, where they proceed to go on a destructive rampage!
Can the girls stop the three mutant animals before they destroy everything?
