Description Okay now this took me quite a while, but I really like the outcome. Considering the time it took I'm not completely satisfied, but all in all I do like it. Some of the detail in the flowers got eaten up by the shading (e.g. the gradients on the petals), which kinda, sucks, but oh well.
Now this might not be the most creative, considering that there are quite a few pretty stunning entries, but this lil Coatala is just really cool so I just did the best I could do in the time I had available :3 And what can I say, I just like drawing floating things x'D

Haha, I mean, shading the coatala wasn't even that bad, it's the roses that killed me XDD

this is just several layers of shading tho that make it look detailed, you have ACTUAL detail in your piece

tbh I would't say it's realism though x'D Really the shading is just more detailed than usual. If you take away the shading it actually doesn't look that different from what I normally draw sta.sh/01kr2iyec7am

I dunno, still x3 The shading is definitely a large part of the realism, as opposed to your typical cell shading. And the head and flowers and all.. Β

actually if you look at the shading of the coatala it actually doesn't quite match the light source :'D

Actually I really wasn't sure what to do as a background, so I decided for a rose/flower heart quite spontaneosly x'D
