Sometimes I disagree with the quality of pieces that are chosen as Daily Deviations. This is definitely NOT one of those times. I absolutely love the texture, color, and pose. It looks very realistic and yet somehow it still looks rough and organic.
This is something that I would expect to see in an art museum.

This is a wonderful piece. The patina is beautiful and the texture enhances the life-like quality. I particularly admire the way you have portrayed the struggles and imperfections of this person's life as well as her beauty, strength and dignity. Look forward to seeing what you do next. Work hard.
