All of which I (ironically) really like. XD Nekomura Iroha is second only to Append Miku on my list of favorite VOCALOIDS.

Mee and Uu looked as though they were going to be VOCALOIDS, but they just sort of faded into oblivion after their demo video was released.

And OK, there are 3 Catloids and 2 Bunnyloids (Rion and Yukari) already. I wonder if there will be more variations...?

And yeah, Iroha's deep voice surprised me when I first listened to her song. XD

Mee and Uu are the two kitties that aren't Iroha in this comic. XD

And I'm sorry, but how in the world is Rion a bunny? o3o If anything Akikoroid looks more like a bunny than Rion simply due to that fluffy blue duster thing she's got tucked into the back of her belt, in my opinion.

Um, I think I have to know about their history, if any... Can you tell me more about Mee and UU?

To be honest, I was kinda "wut?" when I found that Rion has a bunny theme. I got the info from a group blog (in dA): the "To" in her surname comes from the alternate reading for "兎"; said kanji (formally read as "Usagi") means "bunny".

And that's where I'm confused - I can't see anything "bunny" in Rion, other than her name. I was calling her a "maidloid" back then.

There's not much to tell in the way of history~ 8P They were recorded by a pair of twins that have their own singing group, and (designed)drawn by the person who did SF-A2 Miki's art. Then Kobayashi Onyx, the man who made saihate, made a demo song for then, while Tripshots made a video to go along with it. This was released to the public, everyone raged, and they were never heard from again. XD

Hrm... I don't think I'd call her bunny themed, even if one of the kanji in her name means bunny. I think they just wanted to give her a cute-sounding name. But in that respect I guess it's just a matter of personal opinion whether than constitutes her being bunny-themed or not. 8P

Now I wonder why everyone raged over Mee and Uu. I don't see anything wrong with them, to be honest... In fact I want to hear them sing.

And yeah I'm kinda mindboggled to call Rion a "bunnyloid". At least she's so moe (and is indeed designed to be so) and her voice is cute, too. XD

Yeah I remember Iku. Well she's technically an UTAU now. And she wasn't made for singing actually (but rather, producing erotic sounds, although she can sing with proper editing), so maybe that explains why she faded from the Vocaloid fads. And TBH I also never heard her singing. Mind if you give me a YT link?
