I don't know if this is considered an improvement, but no matter how much I like this I will still like your old stuffs better.
Maybe it's just me who expect to see more of that crazy level of detail and that so mature yet striking color scheme. This piece, however, looks somewhat lacking compared to the others I see in your gallery, and when looking at this all I was thinking of was 'where's the magic ..?'
Maybe you (and the others) think this way is better and I'm just asking for a bit too much nice piece anyway |D

Remember, some of these are commissions, so perhaps she is respecting their wishes.
