Description ~~ FULL VIEW PLEASE! ~~

Smallville inspired me (among many other things) to draw Kara, a.k.a. Supergirl.

This is dedicated to my amazing friend Jack (who also nerds over Smallville like me)!

I think there's perhaps a little Laura Vandervoort (the actress who plays Kara in Smallville) in there somewhere.

I'm very pleased with how this one turned out. I tried to follow the techniques of professional comic book artists here on dA, in particular and .

Super wonderful Supergirl art!!! Wow, I love how your Kara looks! I love her bright blue eyes, her playful personality (you can tell she knows she is Super strong), and her cape (I love all texture and how its big and flowing)! And the star field gives the piece a big epic feel to it!
