Zomagoodness... I got to see Prince Caspian at midnight on its first showing with some friends! It was an amazing movie and I actually would really like to see it again if I can get the chance. So, I'm not gonna ruin anything major for those who haven't seen it yet, but I do want to mention Caspian and Susan's... relationship. I've never sailed the Cas/Su ship, but I guess what they did in the movie was... alright... Anyway, the jury is still out on whether I approve or not. At least Susan's character in the movies is easier to like than in the book. She's such a know-it-all in the novels.

I've decided to put this under the "movie fanart" category as opposed to "novel fanart" for a couple of reasons. One, cause it's much more fun to draw Caspian as Ben Barnes rather than as a snotty little fourteen year-old (lol) and two because of the whole, Caspian/Susan relationship. In order to reach where they were at the end of the film (no spoilers), they would HAVE to have spent more time together than just some "you saved my butt, I'll save yours" and a few one-liners. I figured there would be some time in between the big battle and when Aslan gathered all the Telmarines together to leave Narnia for the Pevenies and Caspian to relax a little.

So anyway, this picture was done on Photoshop with my lovely Tablet mouse over the course of a day and a half. Dude, that background took forever! Gaussian blur is my friend. ^_^ Well, I wrote much more than I planned about this picture.
