This is very pretty. I got my head all twisted up trying to figure out if the interplay of nighttime with the light of the stars and candles was meant to signify anything, if so what, and if there's some subtextual meaning that I'm not picking up on. Regardless, the use of light and darkness works very well for the piece.

Thanks! I just wanted to do a little animal who finds a birthday cupcake, I didn't think much about meaning in this one. But it does give me the impression of a lonely birthday party
