Description
My first run at a Tongruta render, and testing out another saber model.I plan on doing a future model of my Sith Assassin, Zhan'na and her apprentice Ashara in the near future. I am just working on a new texture for Zhan'na's facial and lekku markings since they will be a custom job.

I've seen it. Right now time isn't a huge thing on my renders, but I may try it out in the near future.Β

It's off to a good start.
A trick that you can use on the saber is render with indirect lighting enabled, and the ambient color on the saber up at about twenty

I'll play with that, usually don't turn indirect up that high. I tend to just apply multiple lights down the blade and color them. I still turn on indirect lighting but it tends to lock up my render and sometimes corrupt the file on larger renders.
But i will definitely try it out, thanks for the input, I always love to learn.Β

It's definitely memory intensive. Save the file before rendering, if you're worried about corruption, though

Probably not. While I have absolutely nothing against nude renders (there are some people Β that doe some absolutely amazing ones), I try to keep my galleries PG-13 because I share most of my artwork with my guild in SW:TOR (and half of my renders are of people in my guild).Β
I'm not saying it won't change down the line, but for now there are tons of artists that do Star Wars nudes that are far more skillful than I am.Β

She looks great! Just the lightsaber is looking weird again... are there shadows on it? Oh, and I think the species is called 'Togruta' instead of 'Tongruta'.

And I noticed the shadow too just now. Her face isn't right either (I can tell its a different texture all together now that I looked at it more). My next version will be better though.Β
