Luckily, Ash, Brach, Misty, and Pikachu found him and brought the little cutie to safety. Β Such a sad episode. Β But really cute when he jumped at the pokeball.

I always hoped that when Charmander had become a Charizard, he would somehow stumble across his old trainer... and give a little payback. Excellent artwor, by the way. You really captured the mood.

I remember the movie of pokemon when a trainer abandons his charmander in the rain because he thinks its too weak. It was loyal to his owner so the charmander sat on the rock that its trainer put it on. He promised he would come back 2 get it. He NEVER returned and the charmander almost died becuse the rain almost put it out. A different trainer saved his life. Then he became loyal 2 the trainer who saved his life. He became a strong,healthy charizard.........

I totally remember this fromο»Ώ pokemon episode 5 or 6 called "charmander the stray pokemon" i just think it was the most awsome episode ever but also very sad when that guy just leaves charmander there on a rock in the rain the ash and misty save him.:c poor charmander...

Charmander and Charizard Are my Favorites and i watched that episode the other day... nearly brought me to tears

Charmander, Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and especially Buizel are my favorite pokemon. Β I also love Mew, Eevee, Rattata, Lickitung, and Mudkip, as well as Meowth and Onix. Riolu's so cute as well as Lucario. Β But above all this, I love Buizel the most. Β Like my avatar? Β I got it from a very nice animator.

I remember seeing that episode when I was 6 or 7....I was bawling my eyes out. Since then I've always had a soft spot for Charmander, he's just so cute! I love his evolved forms too.

Then again, Ash didn't really get much use out of Charmander. He used him a few times, but most of the time he used Bulbasaur or Squirtle when he should have used Charmander or Pikachu. No wonder Charmander grew up to ignore him.
