nope he doesnt swim as much! i believe he lived/lives on a boat on the sea around fef,mostly just there to studie and plan ways to destory all the land dwellers but he really just does all that to pass the time but wont admit it,besides fef, he is pretty lonely even before he met all the trolls.

Fair point there. He still broke off the friendship with Eridan before he actually killed Fef, Sol and Kanaya (due to Karkat messaging him through time). Understandable he'd act impulsively though, I'd be freaking the hell out too if someone started killing people in front of me.
Fef was his moirail, yes, but it wasn't just his fault she dumped him. I read something interesting once, that Pisces generally gravitate toward shady people because they want to help them - which never works, because they always end up bogged down by the other's problems. Sound familiar? It wasn't just Eri's fault, they simply weren't a good match, though I never liked the way she just blew him off the moment he was no longer of use to her. I get that there wasn't much else she could do, but it still didn't sit well with me.
Good point with Kanaya too. Much as I feel like everyone saw him coming and just went "Ugh, this asshole again," they at least definitely got along.
My opinion of Eridan's changed a bit since I wrote that comment. I still feel like he felt lonely, even with the people around him, but maybe I'm just projecting because I've felt like that too. I think LOWAA did something to him - nobody showed up while he was there, and that place was the troll equivalent of a dark, demon-infested hellhole. Why he waited so long to leave is anyone's guess...

to be honest, i think a lot of bad stuff happened to eridan because he was a pretty bad person. he caused most of the bad stuff. he was an asshole, I don't know if he realizes it or not but I'm pretty sure he does and even though he probably DOES realize he is an asshole, he still doesnt want to change and be a nicer person. I mean, that's why he's so lonely. he complains about being alone but he never really bothered to think why?? or he's just stubborn. and doesn't listen.
he could have gotten a lot of friends if he was nicer but ehhhh yknow he doesn't want to listen and he's pretty narcissistic.
and yeah in astrology pisces isnt really a good match for aquarius
to be honest feferi did the right thing even if it wasn't the best timing. eridan was too emotionally tiring for her. maybe she could have talked to eridan on that matter but theres a 99.9% chance eridan isnt going to listen. plus, eridan manipulated her. or tried to. he only became her moirail to have her as a matesprit. and that's not cool, at all.
tbh eridan could have changed and listened but he didn't, he was so stubborn that's why there are so many bad stuff that happened to him. if he became nicer, he could have gotten more friends. if he listened to karkat and STOPPED KILLING ANGELS more people would have visited the planet.
honestly i think eridan isn't a very good representation of aquarius. at all. i read a lot about aquarius and i just think eridan isn't like an aquarius at all. i see SOME aquarius traits but only a few.
i dont know why eridan represents aquarius. i think i'd rather have eridan represent leo. gamzee while he was high on sopor, is more like an aquarius than eridan. just the way i see it though.

I don't completely blame Kanaya. She was pretty pissed off for being killed and him blowing up the matriorb. But God, compared to Girlfriend of the Year Vriska (flirting with John while using her own matesprit as a pack mule, and hell that's one of the nicer things she did!), who's considered more of a "morally gray" character, Eridan just seems more 'set up to be a bad guy' than 'actual bad guy'. It's really sad.

also it wasn't Eridan's fault he killed Feferi....HERE IS THE TRUTH:
Eridan didn't know he killed Feferi. His eyesight is poor and never changed his glasses to make them stronger because Feferi said that she liked the way he looked in them. So when he fired his wand at her, he thought he hit a non-vital point on her only knocking her out while actually hitting a vital point on Sollux instead of their situations being reversed. He never knew he killed her either, due to his own death soon after.

That's...that's a headcanon, so it's not really what I'd call 'truth'. I think he acted in a violent outburst (which is a typical thing with highblood trolls - Feferi is just weird or..."always angry," like the Hulk), and I know personally that I've done a ton of stupid shit while enraged. But I can't stand people who treat him like troll Hitler and call me unreasonable because I don't.
