But as we got off the car in this now beautiful and sunny winter day, there was already an ominous mass of clouds far over the horizon to the north-west.
I was hoping that those clouds will travel on west and pass us by from the northern side of the mountains.... leaving us be on our way.

As we started climbing, however, the darkness began to grow - slowly, solemnly, ominously, rolling our way....

Most of the view is still obscured by the slope of Brosmetinden itself, that we are climbing.
The mountains on the left are the southern mountains of Ersfjorden, beyond the fjord's end.
On the right, the mountain in the darkness is Sessøytinden (657 m), on the island of Sessøya.
