Long time no lineart?

I used to like inking my stuff, for some reason I like keeping it in pencil now. I dunno, if you think inking is better, let me know, and I will def ink it. haha!

So this pic deserves a little back story. Cowboy Bebop was my second anime ever back when I was like 10, and Spike x Faye has been a huge couple of mine ever since. But.. I never got the courage to draw them (because spike and faye's hair are insanely hard to draw! plus drawing faye always scared me a little bc she's so scantily clad). But I'm older now and it's been on my mind to draw them, and here's what I came up with!

Funny, I started with a reference for Faye's pose, but ended up changing it so much that it didn't turn out at all like the original ref. Spike, I just kinda went with...which is why I cheated and put a couch in front of his lower body... orz, it's hard to draw full body in that position, and yeah with the couch that low, his butt is probably sticking waaaay out, but that's ok bc I don't have to draw it! hahaha.

Well, I am planning to scrap this and color. So I'll be able to make changes if you guys have any concrits.. Thanks for viewing
