Description The most numerous and often considered the best pre-war Oceanic battleship design to date, the Island Class was one of the most eminent warships in the late 1930s to the early 1940s, having been built with the best technologies at the time.

Armed with the first versions of the Mark 3 16in rifles, these guns would prove to be the best within that caliber, with the class mounting 9 of them per ship. Also armed with exemplary 20x5 inch weapons in twin-gunned turrets.

One significant comparison between the Islands and the Metropolitan class is the shorter length of the islands and it's numerousness, having 6 ships to the 4 of the Metropolitans.

Half the ships are stationed in the Old Sea, namely Lauritania and Maurentania, while the rest are based out of the Pamona Islands.

How many barrels were on the turrets? You should do Space Battleship Yamato.
