Gloria, or hymn. I searched but still not quite understand it.
Victorian fashion just changed so fast... I don't know which one should Christine wear. The film says 1870; anyway I'm not good at these things...

I should have considered more before I started. Why does the background become something like this...

The Phantom of the Opera Β©Gaston Leroux, and the musical Β©ALW

If it helps, historically, the opera house didn't open until 1875 (I have the original newspaper to prove it) and the book is set around 1881/2.

I was thoroughly confused by the 1870 at the start of that film version!

Very pretty anime-style Erik & Christine

Thanks!!! I remember it was around 1880, but didn't find more information about the exact year except for the film timeline(←I will throw this away).

Oh, it totally got me when I was writing, & then I googled the Palais Garnier and was all... but wait, France was still pretty much at war, and the opera house wasn't finished and then I was glad I'd checked before I'd done much writing!
