Description Finally the collaboration with is complete. Originally the lineart was named Watashi no Taiyo, but for some reason the more I was finishing it, the more "just listen" seemed to fit for me, thus I named the colored version, just listen. >.> Maybe I was listening to Se7en way to long, but it'snot like it's a bad thing. Mainly I wanted the title to reference the relationship between the two characters.

I apologize to blitz for not being able to finish my work in a more timely manner. I actually had to redo the work including background so many times and never liked it. I actually like how this finally turned out including the abstract elements. I referenced those elements from a comickers from Fall 2000 other than that, that's about it.

To actually be honest, it really, truly did take a lot of time to complete. Coloring the character was somewhat easy, but coming up with a decent background was the real challenge. I finally gave up on the background which turned out to be the right choice after all.

had such an amazing lineart so I tried hard to bring out the gental feeling that it called for. At first I thought that I used too much color and was overdoing it again, but leaving the background out really made the picture look 100 times better.

I am glad that you like the designs of the colthes and wings. The designs on the wings were inspired from an artist that I saw in a magazine that I was looking at called 'Comickers'.

Thanks so much. I tried to incorporate the warm feeling that the lineart called for. I think that I like the fur for the feet the best. I wanted lion looking fur and I really think that I was able to deliver on that concept. ^_^

Thanks so much. I try hard to blend my style with hers. Although I really found it difficult to color this. I'm just happy that everything came out the way that it did.

Also I have to apologize for taking so long to color your lineart, Centi. The colors that I had orignally chose to use with it are not working out, so I gave up on it and started over last week. It's 25% completed. This time the colors are working a lot better so I will be finished with it as soon as I can. Honestly, I rather be late and present something that I know is my best effort, then to do a crap job and give it back to you in a timely manner, . . . if any of that makes any sense. ^^, . . . . .erm, I'll definately shut up now.

Just know that you will definately like it once I have it finished.

I personally like to color with bold, vivid colors. In a way, I challange myself to see how many colors I could make work on this image without getting carried away. I was actually scared that I had made this look too much like a techincolor dream coat. ^o^ But overall I am pleased with how it all turned out.

Originally, I was making a background for it, but it would never come out the way that I wanted it too, so I guess leaving it blank was really the best option wasn't it? LOL Glad that you like my work.

Thanks for both the and for this work. I really appreicate it. is such a great artist who allowed me to color her beautiful lineart. I am honored to have worked with her. As for the design for the wing, I really wasn't sure if my abstract designs would work well with her style. But, I'm happy that our styles messed.

I was actuallly worried that I had ruined you artwork. With all of the changes that I made and all. Again I'm glad that you liked it and that you allowed me to color it. I wanted the gental feel and the interacting between him and the butterfly to come through.
